PET MEMORIALS

Pet Memorial Gifts are a special way to memorialize a cherished pet that has passed away and at the same time help give the homeless animals at the shelter a second chance at life. If you would like your pet's name and photo listed on our website Pet Memorial Page please send or bring your donation to the shelter at 879 McLean Road, Cortland NY 13045 and email your photo to: ccspca@cortlandspca.org. Photos are optional and we can include your name with your pet's name at your request.


Missy

In memory of Missy from Amy German.


Missy was the first dog rescued from the seizure in Scott in June of 2010. She died from cancer leaving a heart broken family behind. A family that turned her sad brooding eyes into happy eyes that sparkled. God saved the best ‘til last for Missy. She touched more hearts than she will ever know.

In Memory of Samuel Nelson 10/10/98-5/25/11 from 9-year-old Madeline Nelson: “Dad picked us up from school. His phone rang. It was the Vet. Dad put her on speaker. She announced to us that Sam had cancer. I started to cry because we had to put him to sleep. We drove up to the Vet. We all went to say goodbye. I gave him a large hug and kiss. I whispered in his ear ‘I will always love you, Sam'.”
